Spanning fashion, art, culture, food, and design, the festival celebrates the country’s diverse creative identity on an international stage.

Visitors can discover some of Indonesia’s most recognizable fashion labels, including Buttonscarves, Calla, Nusaè, Hijack, Cita Tenun Indonesia, and Toba Tenun. The cultural lineup is equally impressive, featuring creative names such as Whiteboard Journal, Darbotz, Mizuma Gallery, and the Museum of Toys. Culinary and lifestyle experiences will also be in the spotlight with brands like Acaraki, Suasana Kopi, Rumah Koffie, Santai Furniture, MAIKA, and the iconic Indonesian restaurant group Sederhana.

According to Time Out, the festival successfully blends well-established brands with independent creatives and local makers, creating a vibrant showcase of Indonesia’s ever-evolving creative ecosystem.

Running from July 4 to August 10, 2026, MASA Singapore will transform the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay into “Orchid Extravaganza: Rhythm of the Rainforest.” More than 7,000 blooming orchids will surround large-scale recreations of Indonesian cultural landmarks, including a Balinese temple gate, traditional Batak and Sumbawa houses, and nine intricately woven sculptures handcrafted by 27 Balinese artisans using centuries-old weaving techniques.

Music lovers can also look forward to MASA Sound on July 12, where Singaporean singer-songwriter Lullaboy will perform alongside Indonesian artists Marbles, Matter Mos, and Pengayoman at the Glassdome. Across Singapore, the celebration will continue with gallery exhibitions, illustration festivals, artist talks, photography showcases, book signings, hospitality pop-ups, and a special SoundBar takeover by Indonesian music bar collective Subo Family.

Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, described MASA as an important milestone for the country’s creative industry, emphasizing that the festival reflects Indonesia’s ambition to turn local creativity into a global movement. With Singapore serving as a strategic gateway, she believes collaboration across the creative sector will help Indonesian talent reach wider international audiences.
