CosmoMagazine – Buttonscarves officially announces the appointment of Mifthahul Jannah, as its new Creative Director. She becomes the first creative leader to take the helm following more than a decade under Founder Linda Anggrea.
Her appointment signals a new era for Buttonscarves and its continued evolution as a brand. Mifthahul Jannah, known as Mitha, now leads the creative direction of Buttonscarves, bringing fashion, beauty, fragrance, retail, and brand experience under one unified vision while supporting the brand’s global growth ambitions.
With a passion for fashion that began at an early age, Mitha has been an integral part of Buttonscarves since its formative years.
Previously serving as Chief of Product Development at Modinity Group, she oversaw product development across all brands within the group while playing a central role in shaping Buttonscarves’ creative identity, retail and store concepts, and overall brand experience. Having grown alongside Buttonscarves, she brings a deep understanding of its creative DNA, community, and attention to detail to her new role.

Beyond Buttonscarves, Mitha is the Creative Director and Co-Founder of Benang Jarum, Modinity Group’s ready-to-wear fashion brand, where she continues to lead the creative vision across collections, campaigns, and overall brand expression.
With her expanded role, she now leads the largest creative portfolio within Modinity Group, spanning Buttonscarves, Buttonscarves Beauty, and Benang Jarum. This brings the Group’s key fashion and beauty businesses under her creative leadership, while establishing a more unified direction for Buttonscarves and its growing beauty category.
“I am deeply grateful for the trust that has been given to me and honored to continue a journey that has meant so much to me personally and professionally,” said Mifthahul Jannah. “Buttonscarves has been an important part of my growth, and I am excited to carry its story forward. My commitment is to preserve the identity and values that our community has come to love while continuing to introduce fresh ideas, meaningful innovation, and new creative perspectives for the future.”
Under Mitha’s creative leadership, Buttonscarves will continue to advance its approach to product innovation, retail experiences, brand storytelling, and creative campaigns. As the brand expands into global markets, her appointment will strengthen creative continuity across every expression of Buttonscarves while opening new possibilities for how the brand connects with a wider global audience.

At the same time, Founder and Creative Director Linda Anggrea is broadening her focus to lead the next phase of Modinity Group and strengthen the wider ecosystem behind its brands, from supply chain and business operations to talent development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
This transition reflects Modinity Group’s commitment to building leadership from within while strengthening every part of the business required to support its long-term growth.
“Building a brand has never been only about creating products. It is also about building people, giving them room to grow, and trusting them to carry the vision forward,” said Linda Anggrea, CEO of Modinity Group. “Mitha has been part of Buttonscarves since its early years and has grown alongside the brand. Through her dedication, creativity, and deep understanding of who we are, she has earned this trust. I believe that empowering the next generation of leaders is essential to building a brand that will continue to grow and endure.”
The appointment of Mitha as Creative Director comes at an important stage in Buttonscarves’ journey as the brand pursues broader growth and market expansion. Under her creative leadership, Buttonscarves looks ahead to reaching new communities and strengthening its identity across global markets. More than a change in creative leadership, it represents the continuation of a shared vision built through years of collaboration, trust, and growth.
